Embroidery Information

The embroidering of garments with a company’s corporate logo is an effective way of creating a professional corporate image, and personalise your company’s workwear.

At Clothes4work Limited, we have our own state-of-the-art computer controlled embroidery machinery. This enables us to have your logo quickly, efficiently and accurately embroidered onto the garments you order from us.

Our website has been developed to produce a fully automated system that allows our customers to send us the logos they wish us to embroider onto the garments ordered. This can be done quickly and conveniently online using the link provided.

Images can be sent in a variety of formats; these include *.jpg, *.pdf, *.tif, *.gif, *png, *.eps, *.dst.

The corporate logo can usually be applied to the centre front, left and or right breast as worn, on either sleeve, at back of neck (below collar) and on the back of the garment.

Please telephone or email us if you are uncertain about anything and we will try to assist. The cost to embroider the garment is £1.25 per logo.

To convert the artwork that has been sent to us into a logo suitable for embroidering on to garments, there is a one off set up fee of £35.00.

There is no set up fee applicable for orders received with a value of over £350 + VAT.

For designs that have a stitch count of over 5,000 stitches, we may have to contact you to discuss adding a small additional charge to cover the extra embroidery.

Once the embroidered logo is created, it is automatically stored on our 'in-house' computer system, so that when you re-order, we can simply reproduce your logo quickly and accurately. As part of this service, a sample logo is produced, free of charge, for you to view and approve before being embroidered onto the garments.

For this service, just choose the embroidery option when ordering the garments and follow the instructions. If this service is not available on the garment that you have ordered, for example, a high visibility jacket the option will not be offered to you to choose from.

Please allow 10 working days for the completion of embroidered garments.

Heat Transfer Printing Information

Larger and more complex designs can be added to garments using our Ultragraphic printing system. This process is especially suitable for use on high visibility and waterproof garments that need personalising.

This process prints a high definition image of the corporate logo and is then heat transfer printed directly onto the garment. Heat transfer printing will not affect the safety and waterproof qualities of the garment. The printed image is long lasting.

The corporate logo can usually be applied to the centre front, left and or right breast as worn, on either sleeve, at back of neck (below collar) and on the back of the garment.

The cost for this is £2.25 per logo.

There is no set up fee for the preparation of the logo for heat transfer printing.
