How to order

Please browse our website using the product navigation links on the left side of the page or the search box at the top.

You will see a summary of the products in a particular category, with thumbnail images and the price excluding VAT. Click on the product that interests you to see more details.

Click the Buy Now button to add an item to your shopping basket, remembering to select your required size, colour and quantity where appropriate.

The contents of your basket will show the details of each item you have chosen and a subtotal of the current cost. You can now go back to the products and add more to your basket, or go to the checkout (click the Checkout button below the basket or use the link in the top right hand corner of the page).

You will need to log in so we know where to send the goods. If you have not already done this, put your email address and password in the login boxes at the top right of the page. If you do not have an account yet, and you would like to open one, you can create one in the same location. Your basket items will be kept while you register.

The first stage is payment. Select how you'd like to pay here. Make sure you have a credit card ready if that's how you want to order. Click the Pay by card, Pay by cheque or Pay on account button.

Choose an invoice address (click the Use this address button or fill in a new address to match the one on your credit card statement). Don’t forget to click the Add address button if you add a new address.

Choose a delivery address (click the Use this address button if it is the same as your invoice address, or fill in a new address and click the Add address button).

Now choose whether you want any personalisation added to your products.

If you do not want any embroidery or printing, click the Skip this step button.

If you would like to order printing or embroidery, you will need to upload a file of your logo first.  Click the Browse button and then find the file on your computer.  When you have found the file, click the Open button.  The file name will be shown on the order page. If you would like to send your logo on to Clothes4work later, carry on to the next step.

Choose the option you require from the drop down menus beside each item ordered.  You need to choose between printing or embroidery and where you would like the logo on your shirt.  If printing or embroidery is not available on the item you have chosen, you will see ‘not available’.  If you would like to add your logo to multiple positions or more than one logo to add, please contact Clothes4work.

Click the Calculate print order prices if you want to see how much your order adds up to in total. Please note that bulk discounts do not apply to personalisation costs.  If you are happy with the logo you have uploaded and the price charged, you will need to agree to allow Clothes4work use of your logo before continuing by pressing the Add personalisation to order button.

If you clicked Skip this step, you will be at this stage.

Enter your credit card details as they are shown on the card, then click the Continue button.

Confirm your order - it has not been saved yet so this is your chance to check everything is correct.  If anything is not correct, you will need to return to the checkout (using the link at the top of the page) and you may need to enter your details again.  

You will need to agree to our Terms of sale before continuing by ticking the box.

If everything is correct, click Place Order. Your order will be submitted to us and you will receive your items in due course.

If you chose to pay by cheque, you will be given the opportunity to print your order out to send with your cheque.

Keeping up to date – you will receive an email with the details of your order soon after it has been placed.

You can also view the status of the order by logging into the website and clicking the "My Account” link (top right hand corner of the page) and then the “Past order/status" link. This will show you all your orders and the status of them.

Once orders have gone to "Dispatched", they are in the hands of our courier and should arrive within 48 hours.

Ordering personalisation is easy with Clothes4work.  Simply choose an item that you want to add your logo to, click the Buy now button to add it to your basket.  Click the checkout button and choose or add your invoice address and delivery address.

How to pay


Security Statement

Your credit card security is important to Clothes4work.  All payment details are taken on secure web pages.  Clothes4work don’t keep credit card details on the site after payment has been processed.  Clothes4work Limited will not provide customer credit or debit card information to anyone outside the company unless required to do so by a court ruling.


Prices

All prices shown in this website are exclusive of embroidery and printing costs, postage and packing, VAT and any promotional offer. Any applicable embroidery, printing, postage, packaging and VAT is payable by you in addition to the contract price.

Items which do not incur VAT are clearly marked.



Bulk discounts

Clothes4work offer the following discounts on bulk orders:

    Over £250 = 2.5% discount
    Over £500 = 5.0% discount
    Over £750 = 7.5% discount


The discount will be automatically calculated in your basket when you have reached the minimum order value. Bulk discounts do not apply to personalisation costs.


Payment Methods

We accept most major credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. Payment can also be made by BACS and cheque. Orders will only be processed once authorisation or cleared funds have been received. Clothes4work Limited reserves the right to decline and order.

Card payments can be taken online using our secure SSL shopping system or by calling us directly.  Orders can also be placed by post.  When ordering by post, choose Pay by cheque during checkout and when the order is completed, you will be given the opportunity to print out your order to enclose with a cheque or card payment details.  Trade Account holders need to choose the Pay on account option.


Delivery

Goods are delivered by Parcelforce Worldwide, and will require a signature on receipt. If delivery has to be attempted more than twice due to the recipient not being in to receive the goods, a second delivery charge may be made. If the recipient requires a delivery to be redirected, a second charge may also be incurred.


Standard service (UK Mainland)

Up to £125 (exc. VAT) is £6.95
Over £125 (exc. VAT) is FREE

The Delivery Charge amount will be shown separately at the Checkout and VAT added.
There are occasions when the demand for a certain product outstrips supply, and in these cases delivery may be up to 10 working days. If this problem arises, Clothes4work Limited will contact you to update you on the progress of your order.


Non Delivery, Damage in Transit

Please note that we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay in delivering the goods you have ordered. In the unlikely event that your products appear to be lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately by using our enquiry form. You must keep the original packaging in case you have any reason to return your purchase.


Cancellations and returns policy


Accuracy of Content

Clothes4work Limited makes every effort to ensure that specifications and product details are correct and have taken every care to ensure that the colours and photographs shown on this website give a true representation of the garments, though we cannot guarantee this in every case. We reserve the right to make changes to the items shown on this website.

The prices quoted on this website are valid for internet sales only and we reserve the right to change prices without notice.

When an order is placed the customer will be notified by email to confirm receipt of the order.

All prices are in £ sterling and exclusive of VAT at 17.5%. However, for many products in our Safety Footwear range, VAT is not applicable. This is clearly shown on each product.

Although Clothes4work Limited endeavours to be accurate with all product details and prices, if a product or price is incorrect due to a typographical error, we have the right to refuse or cancel any order whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account to the value of the original debit. If payment has been received by way of cheque or BACS payment, we will refund the value of the original receipt.

We made every effort to display the colours of our clothing ranges as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours that you see will depend on your computer monitor, we cannot guarantee that your screen will accurately render the exact shade of the product that is delivered to you.


Product Guarantee

In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with any product supplied by Clothes4work Limited, you should use our enquiry form or telephone our help desk free on  0800 032 56 60 . You can return any item of clothing for exchange or refund provided it is unused and returned in its original packaging and you have the packing list documentation. This returns policy does not apply to altered, personalised or custom-made garments.


Cancellation of Order

You may return carriage paid any product to us within 7 days of receipt for a refund less the original delivery cost providing it is unused and with its original packaging and providing our original invoice has been paid.

To return items to us, simply use the Returns Label and returns Form that are provided with your order.

Clothes4work Limited cannot accept the return of any product or garment that has been embroidered or printed with a logo or personalised in any other way.


Returned Goods Procedure

To allow Clothes4work Limited to provide an efficient service to our customers we have introduced an authorised Returned Goods Procedure.

As a customer, you may have a reason to request that goods are returned to Clothes4work Limited.

Please contact a member of the Customer Care Team (Returns Department) either by phone, fax or email. This will allow the return to be processed correctly and provide a return reference and point of contact.

The Customer care team will request the following;

    Customer name and address
    Reason for the return
    Items and quantity to be returned
    Date customer received the garments
    Are garments unused and in original packaging?
    Are replacements required? Clothes4work Limited invoice number.

Notification of return must be made within 3 days of delivery. No returns will be accepted after 7 days from delivery.

Clothes4work Limited will either refund or replace any item authorised for return.

The returned goods must be in their original as new condition, unused and in the original packaging. (This includes all labels and swing tickets).

Clothes4work Limited does not accept return carriage charges unless previously agreed before the return of garments, and therefore the customer is responsible for returning the garments. Returned items will be subject to a restocking charge of £5.00 per item.

We do not accept returns of garments Clothes4work Limited has specifically manufactured, embroidered and or printed to a customer’s own requirements.  

If, having requested and obtained authorisation to return garments and Clothes4work Limited has agreed to collect and have been unable to collect due to goods not being ready, the charge made by our carriers (currently £10.00 per package), for aborted collections, will be charged to the customer.  This is not negotiable.

Returned unworn goods of faulty manufacture will be issued with a credit. If garments have been worn we reserve the right to issue a partial credit taking into account the usage and or age of the garment.


Your Right to Cancel

If you decide you no longer wish to continue with an order, you must advise us as soon as possible before despatch via any contact method. Please quote any reference numbers associated with your order. If you decide to cancel after shipment, then you will be liable for payment of any delivery and / or collection charges.
